“They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to eating meals together and to prayers.”
A242 is a discipleship community inspired by Acts 2:42 — the four pillars of the early church: teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. We gather young people around the Word of God and around a table, building the kind of community that the first Christians knew and that this generation is desperately hungry for.
This is not a lecture. This is not a service. This is a family — studying the Word together, eating together, praying together, and walking with each other toward the heart of God.
A242 runs on a simple rhythm designed to keep you rooted in the Word every day — not just once a month.
Once a month, A242 gathers for a full Bible study followed by a large community potluck. This is where fellowship gets real — where new people feel welcome, where the Word gets applied to real life, and where the body of Christ looks like what it's supposed to look like. Bring your Bible, bring a dish, bring a friend.
A242 is not surface-level. We go deep — into the Word, into our own lives, and into the things that keep us from walking fully with God.
A242 runs on two teams — each one essential to creating the kind of community we're building.
Our first A242 gathering is a multicultural worship experience and open forum centered on the life of David. What does God say about sadness? Is it a sin not to feel guilty? How do you find your way back to God after you've sinned? We're asking the real questions — out loud, together, with worship and the Word.
